Is this a smart lock? +
No. This is the adapter kit only. You still need a SwitchBot Lock Ultra.
Do I need the Adapter Kit? +
Only if the standard Lock Ultra mount does not fit your thumbturn securely. Send a clear photo of the inside of your lock before ordering if you are unsure.
Does it replace my deadbolt? +
No. It helps Lock Ultra grip and turn the existing indoor hardware. Your door and deadbolt stay in place.
Can I use it with the original SwitchBot Lock? +
