FAQ

Common questions.

Will it work on my condo door? +
If you have a standard deadbolt with a thumbturn on the inside, yes. Works on virtually all DMCI, Avida, SMDC, Megaworld, and Federal Land developments. If your door is unusual, message us a photo on Shopee or Lazada and we'll confirm before you buy.
What if Meralco brownout — can I still get in? +
Yes. The Lock runs on its own batteries (independent of your home power). Even if everything else is dark, your lock works. The mechanical key still works too as backup.
Will it damage my door? +
No drilling, no holes, no door modification — the adhesive sits on top of your existing deadbolt. Comes off cleanly with a slow peel if you ever remove it.
Difference between this and Lock Ultra? +
Lock Ultra is faster, quieter, with a longer battery life and stronger motor. The original Lock is the budget pick — same retrofit concept, more affordable. If you don't need the extra polish, this is the one.

Skip the locksmith. Skip the drama.

The original SwitchBot Lock — still the most affordable retrofit smart lock in the Philippines.
