FAQ

Common questions.

How do I know if I have rod curtains or U-rail? +
Look up at your curtain. If it slides on a round bar (any color) — that's a rod. If it slides inside a U-shaped channel attached to the ceiling — that's a U-rail. Almost all developer condos use U-rail; older homes use rod. If you're not sure, send us a photo on Shopee.
My curtain is super heavy — will it pull? +
Curtain 3 handles up to 16kg per pair. That's heavier than virtually any residential blackout curtain. If you're curtaining a 5m living room with thick velvet — yes.
How loud is it really? +
45 dB at quiet-mode is quieter than a standard ceiling fan. We've had clients say their partners didn't notice the curtain opening for weeks.
Do I need a Hub? +
No for in-home use over Bluetooth. Yes if you want voice control (Alexa/Google/Siri), schedules that run when you're away, or sunrise/sunset triggers based on Manila's actual sun.
